As usual the truth lies in between these 2 points.
(but it is VERY important to see both, and to understand the motivations)

Sure ... I 100% agree.

Today news were better than I thought.
Bush wants a fast (ouch) attack ...
but many parts of his government oppose this.
They say that first they have to find enough evidence, and that than they
should cooperate with the many, many countries, which have offered their
help.

This is exactly the way to go.
Fight fundemantalists, and not innocent people.

First try diplomacy, if this doesn't work, than a multinational military
troup will have to do the work.

If the USA will blindly bomb some arab country, hate will only continue.

If the USA wants to find the people responsible (and helping) for the
attack on the usa, arabs will understand that (most of them are also
shocked by this attack)

I hope that the sane part of the american government will win.

America would be extremely stupid NOT to use the international help
offered.
Everybody is shocked by this, and wants to support the USA to find the
responsible persons.

Definitely ...

but many people live in a fastfood world.
Everything is either black or white.
There is 'we' and there is 'them'.
Many of them don't want to see the complex world.
Sad but true.

CU, Ricsi

PS: SAM
Terror attacks don't only hit military targets. They primarily hit civil
targets (as sad as this is)
If it was intended as an attack of humanity than there would have been
attacks worldwide.
It was an attack at the 'satan' called usa. They firmly believe in this
view, and it is partly motivated by US foreign politics.
But it is not only the US, which has deficiencies.
The 1st world lives on cost of the 3rd. (we want cheap coffee, tea,
chocolate ... and we don't care how the people live there ...)
The whole 1st world is affected by this.
But the USA leads. (when I first heared Bush's thoughts concernening world
climate i was shocked ... I thought that it is a bad joke)
