my connection is PPPoE, which is emulated by pepa.exe. Since this driver
provides BOOTP I don't have to fiddle around with DHCP (I don't know if
my ADSL modem has this capability at all). All my internet apps like
Arachne, Wget, Telnet (the package within A.) and LSICQ are running
fine.
