Glenn--the polictical reality is that right now Bush will get the
full and almost unaminous support of Congress to take whatever
action he deems necessary. Bush asked for twenty billion dollars
to fight terrorism and Congress approved forty billion!

Many people around the world are unsure of Bush's ability and
wisdom. That certainly is understandable. But given the current
environment, he's going to be able to do whatever he wants. And
he has gotten to that posistion of power by lucky circumstance
for the most part.

Still, in the current situation, it is his responsibility to
take effective action. I pray that he does.
