Hi Joerg,

to start with your last question: I downloaded Aladdin GS 5.10 yesterday
and it seems this is the latest version.

Indeed GS is a little cryptic to use. But I discovered why this thing is
not working... the executable is GS386.EXE and all batch files mention
GS. Changed this in GS386 and I was able to convert PS => PDF and vice
versa.

Got your PDF2HTM and after some trouble with the path setting it is
working (almost).
The PDF files are not shown in Arachne... a red box "image" is shown but
in the cache page*.bmp could be viewed!

First I had to add DOS4GW.EXE to the Arachne directory (was in GS dir).

I would like to change the definition of the .BPM to a higher resolution
but how to convert pascal to an exe-file ?

There are still a lot of questions and I will ask them later but:

Generation of PDF from PostScript is now possible!
Generation of PS from PDF is now possible!
(How to print a PS on a not-PS printer?)

Viewing PDF in Arachne is possible now!

All of this in DOS only!

Thanks a lot Joerg

BTW: I bought a copy of "PC-WELT" (German) which deals with "PDF-Format
gratis" { PC-WELT 10/2001 }
