Well these are not MY words so there is nothing to clarify...

But I did an experiment:
An essay written in Word was printed out using my (non postscript
printer) Deskjet 500 clone.
The same text was written to a file and printed from this file later on.

A new printerdriver for a postscript printer was installed and the text
written to a PS-file. This file was converted to PDF with GostScript and
printed by Adobe Reader using the Deskjet 500 again.

No one in my houshold could detect a slight difference in the three
printed versions of the same text.

They are EXACTLY the same!

A fourth experiment will take place (but I need Joergs help again) for
it must be possible to make GostScript do the printing with the non-PS
printer as Joerg suggested in: "Star printer Great" or a posting like
that to the List about a month ago.
It would be nice if that fourth reproduction would be like the other
three.
