Hi Gerry, I passed the ticket in about 1982, and I'm still waiting for the car that was supposed to come with the callsign! Main interests are 2metre and above workings, so I've never operated much on the HF (short wave) bands, although I hold a Spanish HF license waiver also. My job is/was professionally involved with radio also, telecomms for the main Electricity company in Scotland, ScottishPower plc.
