If MSN requires authentication protocols when logging in while using a program in the G drive it should require the same protocols when logging in by using the same program located on the C drive. I have no idea how they can tell whether you are trying to log in using a program in the C drive or the G drive. Furthermore, I don't know why they should even care. Nothing like this has ever happened to me. With my ISP I can log in even by using a program in a floppy drive, even with an XT!
