         Ah!  NOW we're getting somewhere.  I've used MDS and manifest, but 
I'm not sure at all.  I'm on Win95 (upgrade version).  Win95's diagnostics 
report it on Com4 int. 4.  I've set both of those (also using the special 
port address within Arachne for Com4) within Arachne.  Still no go.  I'll 
certainly give this a try.  I should have known better.  Paid good money 
for it too.  8-(
