Hello all,

As more and more people around here seem convinced that happiness comes out
of a pill and peace comes out of a bomb, I'm not sure what to wish for the
new year on this slightly delayed first opportunity, but a stable and
independent web browser sure adds to the good side.

Last year I gave my 486 away to a friend who now uses arachne 1.69 mainly
for mailing purposes. Up to three times now, he had to consult me because
someone on some list sends messages with an absurd lot (hundreds) of
adressees in the to: field, which seems to hang arachne while generating
the inbox list and / or blocks mail download. Unfortunately the providers
webmail interface contains some javascript so I had to send him to the
public library in order to find and delete the message from the server.

Can anyone confirm this for 1.69 and was this solved in 1.70?

believing expresses doubt,
doubt is the source of independence"
