Unfortunately there's no telnet access with this provider. 
Selecting the right message in the mail directory is possible with a
directory lister like Volkov Commander (also downloadable .apm), Norton
which has the additional feature of a built in editor, or even dosshell,
sorting the list by date and then picking the largest messages for a closer
look. Also an aborted download can be retried with Minuet (latest version
usually on http://www.xs4all.nl/~labrat/downloads), using arachnes ppp
connection (write a nice .ook with a button on the dialpage).
Nevertheless, all this is a bit over the newbies head so it cost me an hour
on the phone and a few traintickets. Maybe there could be some limit on the
field in future versions (if ever)
