  Your response helped me find my problem. I formatted my floppies with
DR-DOS 7.03, it seems this won't work. I only come to an A: prompt that 
way. Since you said autoexec.bat I formatted them with a m$dos 6.22 
bootdisk, now they work! To be a little picky, is there a simple way to
use the DR-DOS format.
