Now *I'm* confused!

I am using DR-DOS 7 on my laptop and it *does* have and use AutoExec.Bat.  
Nowhere on the computer is the file, autodos7.bat.  (I just did a "whereis 
auto*.* c k" search that searched all of my drives.)  I also use Config.Sys, 
not dconfig.sys.
