Hey, Roger;

  Sam asked the same question, I found the answer for the differing file
names in the 7.03 DOSbook by typing help, then hitting the configuring
the system button, it took me to chapter 9 where it explains the reason
for this, as I have remnants of win95 on my computer.

Also, Sam;

  You said you have DR-DOS 7.02 on a computer, I read a site that said
it is better than 7.03, which it called it an iffy DOS, I have been
unable to get 7.02 downloaded and am wondering if it's worth the effort.
Could you critique the 2 for me and let me know which you prefer.
