Another rant;
 I would like to thank you all, for satisfying my curiosity, about
the technical and philisophical aspects of DOS, it helped me realize
I definitely need an alternative.
 I usually use a text browser to gather information, but like Sam I
also like useing a graphical browser, that's why I use Arachne, but
it bugs the crap out of me to have to use windoze and IE to go places
I have to go but can't in DOS. As CLI is easier for me than GUI I have
considered Linux, but where I can get a quite usable command line even
in win2000, the Linux seems horribly cryptic and complex!!!
I can access my hd easy enough useing, mount -t auto /dev/hda1 /hd
but using the floppy is something else, I have to mount umount dismount
and fall off the horse just to move the write protect on the disk.
I wish I had printed out a lot of the Linux posts as I have learned some
and could use them now. Is there an easier less type happy way of useing
the floppy drive? Like typing A:. I have found that formatting the disks
in BasicLinux helps.

Thanx Again Rob:
