Opera 6.0x has usenet. It�s email part works quite nice.

UKA_PPP plus YARN make an exellent duo for offline usenet and email.
I use it in a 286 and a 586 with an hercules monitor.

You can configure it so you only see the message text, without any other menu, etc.
It�s like reading a book. A boom for text_only fanatics.

With VGA you can choose fore and background colors.

The only drawback is thart it is even more dificult to configure than PMAI for DOS.
