Tried compiling your own kernel? I did that, and it's working swell
(woha, nice word). Can't remember why I did it though. But I guess
I've got my reasons (think it was because I wanted a -ck patch) :]

Maybe you should run �depmod�? Have you checked everything is nice
with �uname� and �ls /lib/modules�? I always had a problem with Arch
because it doesn't run �lilo� for me, so I started up with an old
kernel whilst I thought I had a new one. And than I couldn't load any
modules anymore...
