Hello,

hwd is not needed if you are using hwdetect. Run the following command :
hwdetect --show-modules

Add this line to /etc/rc.conf:
MOD_AUTOLOAD="yes"
And then
MODULES=(xxx xxx)
For any module not autodetected by hwdetect.
This route is even faster than hwd.
