Folks, I installed the ati packages for archck just fine. I'm running 2.6.15-archck and installed the ati packages 8.24.8. Currently, I have ati-fglrx-archck 8.23 and ati-fglrx-utils 8.24. Yet, I seem to have problems with my acceleration. I get 2D acceleration just fine, but when I run fgl_glxgears, I get the error message:
Using GLX_SGIX_pbuffer X Error of failed request: BadLength (poly request too large or internal Xlib length error) Major opcode of failed request: 16 (X_InternAtom) Serial number of failed request: 25 Current serial number in output stream: 28 The polygon is about to be drawn but then goes away. I notice that certain xscreensavers are really slow because of this. Any ideas as how to approach this from the beginning. Also, my ATI control panel is in Tamil now, which I can't read and I don't how that happened. Help appreciated. Thanks.
