Thanks for the reply.

Weird thing is, is I tried that and it does allow me to add the camera, but I 
still can't connect to it.

Did you do anything different to the /etc/hotplug/usb/usbcam.usermap or 
the /etc/hotplug/usb/usbcam file to make it work?
