No just the .desktop files. kde associates media files by default to noatun, kaboodle and juk all of which I don't use since I prefer kaffeine/amarok/xmms A better solution would be to split kdemultimedia into two packages. 1. kdemultimedia ( containing vanilla kdemultimedia - noatun, kaboodle and juk ) 2. kdemultimedia-extra ( containing noatun, kaboodle and juk) I think everybody would agree that would be most sensible and professional approach.
