Hi, I tried to make kernel backups rebuilding images with mkinitcpio -k
but I only get kernel panics as a result. I think this could be the
right procedure to have multiple kernels, but I need help to solve this
problem.

Please see http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=31754 for a
detailed description.
