Opensuse includes fan and thermal in the initrd by default. I don't know it
exactly but i think ubuntu do the same. So i fear that udev could be too much
complicated to realize it.

Perhaps it will be enough for the most user to have this both (fan and
thermal) in the MODULES array of mkinitcpio.conf which means that the default
initrd runs them by default. And users who need more (or less) can edit the
rc.conf or the mkinitcpio.conf and make once time their custom initrd.

What i think is that you can't find even an automatic solution for all
hardware scenarios and so it is impossible that users never have to config
something by themself. The most important thing is done because from my view
it is the documentation about how to config it.-)

See you, Attila
