Like Pete, I just rebooted without adding anything to see what would happen. I use wacpi (which has a text version, acpi) to check battery life. That didn't work, (which was expected) but loading the modules fixed it. Interestingly enough, if I tried to load (in rc.conf or at command line) with battery ac rather than the order of ac battery, I'd get an error. (I didn't bother to write it down, it seemed, though, as if battery was taking ac as an argument.) After that, I tried, adding it to rc.conf and everything was fine. -- Scott Robbins PGP keyID EB3467D6 ( 1B48 077D 66F6 9DB0 FDC2 A409 FA54 EB34 67D6 ) gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys EB3467D6 The Master: You were destined to die, it was written.
