I have been trying to install Leap 16.0 on a Raspberry Pi 4B. I have a few remarks.
1. The image is not usable on a headless system. After starting the image from an SD card you need to have a screen and keyboard attached to do some initial configuration before access via ssh is possible. 2. The questions asked on the initialization screens about about root password and ssh keys are unclear when you are used to previous installations of Rasberry Pi images. 2.1 A better directive for the root password would be: Enter the root password that will be used to login as root. 2.2 A little more explanation on the setting of ssh keys is required. Somthing like: To set ssh keys for access to root, we ask you make, from another system a connection to <the IP addresses of the Leap 16.0 system>. This enables access to public keys on that system which will be stored in the file: /root/.ssh/authorized_keys . 3. U-boot still takes a lot of time to find a bootable image on the SD card. After that, when grub is active the keyboard is not usable to shorten the time to start Leap. The 10 seconds delay take much longer than 10 seconds. -- fr.gr. member openSUSE Freek de Kruijf
