I have no idea how to find out if that is the case. See output of the command:
~ # rpi-eeprom-update -l
/usr/lib/firmware/raspberrypi/bootloader-2711/default/pieeprom-2025-05-08.bin
or 
~ # rpi-eeprom-config 
[all]
BOOT_UART=0
WAKE_ON_GPIO=1

I already tried 2 different SD cards with Leap 16.0 and Tumbleweed.
From the output above I conclude to have the latest eeprom firmware.
