This reminds me of an old Monty Python sketch that had a line in which the game-show host offered the contestant a choice:
"Would you like the nice gift package, or a hit on the head?" To which the game-show contestant replied: "Ah, I'll take the hit on the head!" (or "I'll take the 'it on the 'ead!")
