Hi Anand,
Though RAGA doesn't belong to anybody, it is how U
use the RAGA matters. Each classical legend as his
own unique style of using the RAGAs. So if Saint
Thiagaraja can use a particular raga in a style then
it doesn't necessarily mean that other Muttuswamy
Dixitar has to use the RAGA in the same way.
Basically as somebody pointed out it is just a
template. So somebody uses the same template then it
is a LIFT.
