This is off topic, but if we're talking about Amit Trivedi a bit, here's my opinion:
He is talented and has carved out a nice niche for himself. He has great potential to be even more successful in the future. He's very creative and very innovative. But, is he the next ARR? No, not in my opinion. His music is intellectually stimulating, diverse, and crafty, but so far, from what I've heard in Aamir and Dev D, his music does not reach me emotionally much, does not touch me deep inside, does not impress me with overall sound, and lacks the type of ambiance and soul that I most prefer and appreciate in music in general. Just my opinion.
