Rahman is gold standard. And I will compare anybody who wants to make it with the Gold Standard. So i would make no apologies in saying that Amit Trivedi has the potential to be the Rahman of the future. This endorsement does not take away from Rahman's worth, it adds to it...everyone aspires to be like or better than him.

He has been composing for movies from last 2 year only and Rahman is international celebrity; been in industry from 18+ years. Dont you remember the article where he picked top 10 ARR albums, plus in almost all of his interviews he talks about him being fan of ARR. So far I have loved both of Amit's albums and Iktara, but he still got a long way to go. Many music directors get success in early stages of their career but find tough to carry on. Ismail Darbar, Monty Sharma, Mithoon are few good examples.. --- In arrahmanfans@ yahoogroups. com, "ichord" <purev...@.. .> wrote: > > This is off topic, but if we're talking about Amit Trivedi a bit, here's my > opinion: > > He is talented and has carved out a nice niche for himself.
