Yup - I had to try it myself and it crashed our User Tool. ARS 6.0.1,
patch 1497 (UT is patch 1454). We're running on Oracle 9i/Solaris 5.9.

Rick,

I agree. 'Can't imagine why somebody would need to use this key
sequence, but I'd rather be aware of the issue before my users see it.
Some yahoo somewhere will stumble onto it and complain. (On the other
hand, we've been running this release since 03/05 and this issue has gone
unnoticed so far).

"Doctor, Doctor! It hurts when I do this!"

"Well, then don't do that."

Sorry to be unsympathetic here, but is there a legitimate business reason
to
perform that key combo as part of processing a ticket? If not, what's the
point of testing for it? Please enlighten us.

Rick

Subject: Key combination CTRL-SHIFT-END in numeric spinner field crashes
usertool

Hello,

Using ARS 6.0.1 en 6.3 usertool (patch 18) on a windows 2000 prof client.
Maybe we have a small bug here:
The usertool crashes (dr.watson) when you select a numeric spinner field
(put the cursor in it)and press the CTRL-SHIFT-END key combination.
I tried this in several usertool versions with the same result.

Can anybody reproduce this or give me the solution for this issue?

Kind Regards,

Ben
