Hello list: We are in the process of upgrading Oracle to support an upgrade of ARS. We are moving from Oracle 9i to Oracle 10gR2 and then will upgrade ARS from 5.1.2 to 7.0.1. The question the DBA presented me is... does ARS make use of any of the following Oracle default schemas, or can they be removed to keep things clean?
CTXSYS HR MDSYS ODM ODM_MTR OE OLAPSYS ORDPLUGINS ORDSYS OUTLN PM QS QS_ADM QS_CBADM QS_CS QS_ES QS_OS QS_WS SCOTT SH WKSYS WMSYS XDB Does ARS (5.1.2, 6.3 or 7.0.1) use any of these when residing on Oracle?? We're on Solaris 9 if that makes any difference.
