Hi All,

      I'm pretty shocked that someone would say that the product wasn't meant 
to import data from other sources. As previously mentioned, that statement 
would make no sense. I'm sure it was just a miscommunication. I have used the 
import tool even ver 6.3 patch 19. I have never had a problem with an import 
that couldn't be traced back to a PEBCAK (Problem exists between chair and 
keyboard) issue. Usually I can find the problem when I look through it more 
carefully. Often its a matter of the Data itself such as an inncorrect CTI or 
Location Configuration, or even a botched choice of preferences. The times I 
can't pinpoint the issue on my own, someone from Support has been able to shed 
some light on it. It may be a Backline issue, or maybe it wasn't, though more 
patience going over it could have helped. Sometimes having someone in Frontline 
support present it to a Backline Engineer goes a bit smoother. Have you gone to 
Customer Care about this? Have you spoken to the Support Manager?  Don't know 
if any of this helps, but I hope it does.  BTW, I use Excel for my CSVs. Oddly 
enough its probably the only Microsoft product that hasn't given me a hard time.
