Good Sir,

In the interests of saving your customers from both
1) wasted time, which is a certainty with your current procedure, and
2) potential hazard from partial updates, which is a likelihood therewith,
might it not make sense to set the permissions of a download directory to make
it invisible to customers until its contents have been verified by BMC to be
both complete and correct?

Maybe I am suffering from delusions of obviousness again? If so, my most humble
apologies.

Does someone at BMC download each newly uploaded update and install it per the
documentation provided to assure quality before you release it to customers?

Thanks for keeping us informed as the update is uploaded, but the need for you
to do so seems to me to be artificially induced by a poorly designed and
loosely validated process.

Peace,
Doug Anderson

According to the folks I've talked to, the patch is still uploading. I
would suggest waiting until tomorrow to retrieve the patch. It should
be done uploading by then.
