What mail protocol are you using? They recently consolidated servers here and moved them behind a firewall. Thus our previous configuration using MAPI broke. We switched to SMTP and that fixed it.

I am thinking this is an issue with the TCP port number, in the Email Daemon config, but I am not sure. We did had to open up ports for the ar server and mid tier so we could connect via windows and web. Any ideas.
