6.3 supports Java 1.4.2x. 7.0.x supports Java 1.4.2x and 1.5x (5.0x). No current version supports Java 6.0, though it's currently planned for the next release of AR System. -David J. Since BMC's site is down I'm unable to verify that the updates our server team have installed are compatible with the Mid-Tier. They gave us Java 6 (1.6.0 I believe), which seems to be incompatible with Remedy, and when I downgraded to 1.5.11, it also appears to be incompatible. They really want to run version 6 since it's the current one, but I know Remedy tends to be a few versions behind on the JRE.
