Does anyone know yet if the 6.3 user client works in Vista?

** It has been like this as far as i can remember. If there are new OS
or DB gets released, it is only added to the support matrix for upcoming
versions or maybe for the last released version.
6.3 user tool will of course still be supported, but just not on Vista.
v7 user tool is supported on Vista, also when running against a v6.3
server...

My question is, will the 6.3 client still work in Vista and just not be
supported or is it the 6.3 client does not work in Vista period?

Either way, doesn't that beg the question of supported versions? I
thought BMC supported two previous versions. 6.3, as I understand it,
is still a supported version. Is there another major release planned
that would end 6.3's support? Or has BMC just decided, "Testing and QA
is too expensive to do on both versions, so let's just do it for 7?"

Roger is correct. There are no plans to test the 6.03 WUT running on
Vista. Customers wanting to use Vista will need to use the 7.0.01 (or
later) WUT. However, since the 7.0.01 WUT can connect to previous
versions of AR System (e.g. 6.03), customers will not need to upgrade
the server to 7.0.01 to take advantage of clients running Vista. Only
the WUT would need to be upgraded.

Latest update I have from QA is that testing should be completed within
the next 30 days.

Can anyone tell me if Remedy supports the use of Vista for the ARS user
tool,

version 6.3? I didn't see anything on the web site,
and have a user asking about it.
