My server is running on a specific TCP port. If that's the case for you
as well, check the settings under option and the advance tab and see if
the port is specificed in there. If it isn't then that's the problem.

If the above does not apply to you, I'd try printing from the midtier and
directly from crystal. If it works from the midtier and not the usertool,
then I'd try another PC, check the ODBC driver and flip on logs and check
the workflow.

Subject
Odd Reporting behavior on 7.0

**
Hey Gang,

ARS 7.0.1 P2
Solaris
Oracle 10g
Solaris
ITSM 7.0
User Client 7.0 on WindowsXP Professional

I'm trying to run a report out of the 7.0 User Tool on the CTM:People
form. I haven't found the exact number of fields, but I can run reports
just fine with a "handful" (about 12) fields.

When I pump it up to either a couple of dozen or ALL FIELDS and try to run
a sample report either to the screen or to the printer, the User Tool just
simply closes without any error whatsoever, not even a Windows error!

Has anyone else observed this? Is there some sort of setting that I'm
missing? I've been a Remedy Admin for 10 years and I've never seen
anything like this and it is totally and consistently reproducible.
