Yes Norm, maybe you are. It appears to me that David attempted to head off
this type of speculation in Item No. 2 of his email:
2) These questions should not be construed as a statement of direction or
strategy. Do not read more into this survey than it being just an
information gathering tool.

However, your response has started a whole new thread and already there are
those proclaiming that the Sky Is Falling. Do you really wonder why there
aren't more BMC employees who participate in the list? David asked for the
List's feedback via a survey and already the list has responded with "You
aren't asking the right questions. You are going about this the wrong way."

You know what I bet? I bet if we just did what David Easter has asked and we
gave him good ideas or feedback ON THE INFORMATION THAT HE IS AFTER, that
David/BMC just might decide to seek feedback from the list on the things
that we are concerned about. That being said, BMC already gets a daily dose
of our opinions on what needs to be fixed.

Subject: Re: BMC Remedy AR System Web Client Survey

Maybe I'm just reading into it, but based on the way the questions read, it
seems like this is a fact-finding effort to explore replacing the WUT
permanently with the Midtier.which, from BMC's perspective, would make
sense-that's a lot less code to maintain if they can do away with the WUT
once and for all.

Hi All,

I would like to get some structured feedback on the web client / Mid-Tier
provided with AR System. I've created a quick survey (10 or so questions)
on SurveyMonkey to gather this feedback. To take the survey, please visit
the following URL:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=nefIVUt9P6Ljo9WdWKoT4A_3d_3d

Some things to keep in mind when taking this survey:

1) You may take the survey multiple times if you represent multiple
customers. Please be sure to provide a different company name each time if
doing this.

2) These questions should not be construed as a statement of direction or
strategy. Do not read more into this survey than it being just an
information gathering tool.

3) Concise and civil answers are appreciated.

Thank you in advance for taking the survey. Results will be shared at the
end of the survey, which should run about 2 weeks.
