This is with Oracle Instant Client Package - Basic Lite 10.2.0.3 for Solaris 32-bit.
The strange thing is that it connects the first time arserverd is started during the install, but the subsequent startup of arserverd does not know where the client is installed. Something in the ar_install or arsystem script is unsetting or changing LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
