Tom, There are no consequences as far as I know. Their (Remedy's) offered "service levels" have more to do with "what you pay for" (when/if they will answer the phone/email) than when/if they will resolve your issue. So the Service Contract has more to do with the Service that they will provide, than a "Service Level Agreement" with the customer.
