Third Party vendors are always an option, but don't end up in the double hell that I am in. Our support is with a company in Austria, now picture in your mind a conference call with yourself, Austria, and India. My head exploded, emails are no better, I get a lot of responses in Austrian German, that is quite frustrating.
Not here to rant about my unsolvable issue with support. I do remember a thread a month or so back where folks were touting their favorite Third Party vendor, and I know some of them have fairly decent support, at least some employ support reps who have experience.
