I've been asked to try JRE 1.5.x. I'm working on getting that to my PC (an involved process), but in the mean time does anybody have anything else I can try? I'm not too sure JRE 1.5.x will do the magic.
Or, let me ask this: if you are able to create/modify web services without issue (ARS/Mid-tier/Remedy Admin 7.1), what version(s) of JRE do you have? This registry location should give you definitive list of JREs/JDKs you have: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment Rabi Tripathi wrote: > > Hi guys, > I'm getting this error, ARERR 7017, when saving a new Web Service.
