Rabi, we had another kind of midtier error while running JRE 1.6.x because tomcat was not able to detect the path. The error went away after JDK was installed. The compatibility matrix says to use JDK instead JRE. Why dont you give it a try by installing JDK 1.5.x or 1.6.x?
