Thanks Robert that fixed it.
 
btw, for the other suggestions, I did do a complete uninstall, deleted
all directories relating to Remedy and rebooted before I reinstalled.
Only registering the dll worked.

        Error generating application list field contect. (ARERR 1900)

         
        and users see an emtpy application list field in the home page,
to sort this we run
         
        "regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\msxml3.dll" at Start -> Run.

        
        This is to do with the way the client has been packaged here,
the only difference is we are on v7 patch 7, but might help.

                I'm having a problem with a users client. She opens
Remedy and gets an ARERR 1900 and the Application List is greyed out.
This started this morning and she hasn't had this problem before. I
completely removed the client, rebooted her machine and reinstalled but
same problem. Anyone run into this before?
                Her machine is the only one having this problem.
