It may or may not, but I caught a screenshot of the window that opens, and it's much greater than 1X1. Were you able to see the picture in my second or third email on this thread?

It is annoying I agree but in general I would recommend that ALL popup blockers be disabled anyway because if they are catching that one, they will certainly cause problems with other windows opening. I don't think it has anything to do with logging being on or off - it happens to everyone all the time. It doesn't have to do with user preferences either. So I don't think you did anything to cause it, I just think it is the new wonderful annoying feature of mid-tier 7.1.
