I did a search and did not find any folders or files with arfork in them,
this is a windows environment, I believe I have seen arfork in
A Unix environment

What about looking in the arfork.log. That is where external commands are
logged to.

That was one of the first things I did to debug, and it had no errors, this
is the only message I got
Checking SOT:ImportCompData (enabled) : going to fire in 604470 seconds on
+SOT:TotalStorage Productivity Center Staging Form

Have you looked at the escalation log? What does it say when this error
occurs?

Leonard, I tried that and got the same thing, My problem is that on one
line it says no error, but the previous one says there is a failure
Fri Aug 22 16:05:59 2008 390603 : Failure while trying to run the
filter/escalation process (ARERR 24)
Fri Aug 22 16:05:59 2008 No error : $PROCESS$ F:\ImportCompFile.bat
any other suggestions would be appreciated
Thanks !

Run from an escalation, wouldn’t the syntax just be:
$PROCESS$ F:\xxxxx\xxxxx\xxxxx\ImportCompFile.bat

Subject: Importing file using Run Process using escalation
Hi everyone,
Has anyone had any issues trying to import a bat file using a run process
in a escalation ?
We currently run a windows environment and use remedy v7.0.1
This is the run process I am using $PROCESS$ @xxxxx:
F:\xxxxx\xxxxx\xxxxx\ImportCompFile.bat
This is the error I get on the log:
Fri Aug 22 15:17:00 2008 390603 : Failure while trying to run the
filter/escalation process (ARERR 24)
Fri Aug 22 15:17:00 2008 No error : $PROCESS$ @xxxxx :
F:\xxxxx\xxxxx\xxxxx\ImportCompFile.bat
I can run the batch file from the server and it imports the file into
Remedy, but when I try to run the batch through a run process it seems
To do nothing
Thanks !
