Here's the magic combination. 1) It doesn't matter whether the field is sourced on a regular form or console. 2) The check box field must exist on the default view of the form. 3) The column must be set as editable. I think the reason mine doesn't display like that could be one of two things: 1) Both the Check Box field and the associated column are on a DO form, and are therefore DO fields. 2) Because of 1), I have to have an AL guide populate the column.
