When I've been involved in cases with this in the past we've done a couple of things... 1.) Lock down the MT box so no connections inside the firewall can be made except to the AR Server. If you need a mid-tier for your internal users get a different one (or loop people out and back in the firewall). 2.) I've had issues with the style sheets not working correctly for the MT over the internet but I am pretty sure that was all 6.3. Not sure about 7.x
