I still use the ARSDocumenter perl script to document my 7.1 system. To search the documentation I just do a standard Windows search against the directory putting my "keyword(s)" into the "word or phrase in the file" field.

I run it about once a month and have not had any issues with it. The only time I have had an issue, is when I tried to run it against a VM of the same application config. The RAM allocated was a little more than 1 gig. I was able to get this to complete as well...but had to turn off all non essential services from the service console in order to get the memory. We are running windows 2003 servers with multiple processors and 16GB ram. I also do NOT run it on the remedy server itself...but a secondary server. I applaud the app...and the guys keeping it alive. Hopefully they will add some "versioning" fields....to allow me to differentiate one run versus another. This would be very useful when running arinside against packing lists of modifications. And an ability to search keywords against the billion HTML files it creates (embed an index server).
