Web services if an option, would be the best bet.

If the other data source is also an RDBMS, and exists on the same network, you
could try the good old DB Link, and then a Remedy view form pointing to that DB
Link, assuming that data source has at least one primary key that can qualify
as a Remedy Request ID field.. It would need to be unique and less than 15
characters but greater than 5..

The AIE engine is another option if the foreign database is on the native
network..

If you want to for some reason not consider these options, Tibco is a pretty
cool product for data integration between Remedy and other data sources.. works
pretty well.

Croom Consulting also has a data integration product. You might want to check
that out if they still support it.

Q: Has anyone worked with Talend Open Studio (Community Edition free version)
or any of their other products to do data integration between Remedy and
another data source?

  OR

Q: What techniques/products have you used to provide realtime or near
realtime or schedule jobs between Remedy and another data source?

  Thanks - El-Noor

What does the filter which sends the notification use for a notify action?

  Hi there,

  Version 7.1.00 Patch 007

I configured one group named “Group1”. Alert notifications are going to all
users when any Change Assign to Group1. My requirement is Email notification
should go to all users of Group1 when any change assign to that group.

In “NTE:CFG-Notification Events” form I select following options.

  Notification Event Type* System Default

  Module Name Infrastructure
Change

  Notification Event Change
Assignee Assignment

  Support Group ID SGP000000000876
(Group1 ID)

  Remedy Notification Method Email

  Individual Notifications Yes

  Group Notifications Yes

And then save these options but still Alert notifications are going to users
of Group1. Can anybody tell me where I am making mistake?

  Thanks & Regards
